The cost of doing business in West Virginia is nearly 14% lower than the US average and we rank 12th best in the economic climate category. Our skilled workers are among the most productive in the US, with turn-over rates among the lowest in the country. With a cost of living 14% lower than the national average, one of the lowest crime rates in the country, and low property taxes, it's no wonder that, since 2005, more than $22 billion dollars have been invested in new business in West Virginia.
